On June 28,
2015, the 14th China Internet Conference EC Session and the 1st Cross-border Trade
EC Fair was held in Ningbo
International Convention
Center , a special event under the cooperation of
China Internet Society and local government for the first time. Ningbo is a gathering location in the development of China 's
e-commerce industry, showing obvious first-mover advantage in the e-commerce
industry, covering several large cross-border e-commerce companies. A number of
state department officials, well-known experts and scholars, and national
e-commerce industry leading entrepreneurs were invited to attend this
conference.

ChinaCache was
invited as the exclusive non-Internet enterprise during the whole conference.
The conference organizer mentioned that the CDN network acceleration service
provided by ChinaCache was a very important link in the Internet development, playing
a vital role in the development of Internet, e-commerce, and cross-border
e-commerce.

that under the policy guidance of "One Belt and One Road ", more and
more economic entities began to fuse. Especially with the new thinking of

undoubtedly resulting in cross-border e-commerce opportunities. Overseas goods have
gradually got the attention from domestic consumer groups, leading to more and
more e-commerce channels such as "overseas purchasing agents and overseas
online shopping". "Cross-border" business has soon become the
new favorite in the e-commerce field. Many domestic and foreign well-known e-commerce
enterprises have got involved in this cross-border business. Yet, the large cross-border
market and policy supports have also given space for many medium and small
enterprises. There are industry benchmark websites for different channels such
as “purchasing agents, flash sales and direct delivery”.
However, from
relevant cross-border e-commerce data, ChinaCache found that "opportunities
were accompanied by challenges”. According to the data in CNNIC 2014 report, in
2014, Chinese online population reached 649-million person-time. In the same
period, the number of users willing to choose online purchase soared to 340
million person-time, with user penetration as high as 52.5%, based on the iResearch
data. But, within the cross-border e-commerce, B2C transactions only accounted
for 7.6% of cross-border e-commerce business, an exciting but also confusing
figure to the cross-border e-commerce. ChinaCache Business Unit leader said
that the cross-border e-commerce B2C scale was not at the same level as the B2B
scale. Therefore, there is no need for those e-commerce enterprises at their
testing level to be confused. But the more shares the market covers, the bigger
challenge the enterprises are facing.
It’s shown from ChinaCache’s
several years of e-commerce service experience that, in addition to price and
distribution, user requirement and experience are increasingly important in the
future competition. ChinaCache has been offering service to several e-commerce

in different network environments, so undifferentiated experience can bring better
experience to customers. The fifth aspect is the increasing bandwidth pressure.
The growth of goods categories and the need of displaying mass pictures require
higher bandwidth and servers to satisfy users. The sixth aspect is
undifferentiated experience for regional users. The broad regional distribution
of users leads to more allocation of CDN nodes, enabling users in each region
to enjoy fast service. Several different ways are likely to lead to poor
