ChinaCache Cooperates with Youku Router, Creating New CDN Ecosystem

On August 26, ChinaCache, the leader in China’s CDN industry, announced its cooperation with Youku Router, the game changer in routing industry, to jointly create a new ecosystem in the CDN field in China. The imbalance of China's bandwidth resources and the characteristics of north and south areas operated by different operators have led to poor experience of China broadband users. When online videos become the channel for users to obtain basic information, bandwidth resources have become the section which needs the most improvement. Although video sites and CDN service providers are trying to improve the bandwidth resources of Chinese users, in fact, due to limited user coverage of the CDN service providers and the fact that video websites won’t focus on improving user bandwidth as its operating priority, the users cannot smoothly watch big stream HD video content though the current video websites have a large number of HD videos. Comparing to the construction of Chinese backbone networks, this measure is fast, effective, more cost saving, and green.
