ChinaCache Establishes Strategic Cooperation with XJTU, Promoting Together Internet+ in the West

On April 21, 2015, ChinaCache International Holdings Ltd. (hereafter referred to as ChinaCache) (Nasdaq: CCIH) announced the establishment of its strategic cooperative partnership with Xi’an Jiaotong University (hereafter referred to as XJTU). Relying on national Internet + new economic strategy, the two sides will make close cooperation in the construction of the Innovation Port in the west, and information network infrastructure technical support, scientific research cooperation and talent cultivation, to promote together the information development of the west.

Pushing western Innovation Port construction together, becoming innovation driven pioneers

The Science and Technology Innovation Port of XJTU is a high-end talent tank built together by Xixianxin district of Shaanxi province and XJTU, combining platforms such as national scientific research and high-tech achievement transformation, high-end talent training, hi-tech enterprises incubation, and core technology study, to deepen reform practice and provide regional planning and development. Aimed at national major demands and regional economic and social development needs, the port is to make a demonstration for the implementation of national innovation driven strategy. Focusing on cloud computing, vigorously promoting information level in the west

The two sides will have in-depth cooperation in information network infrastructure construction and cloud computing service. XJTU, as a well-known high- level research university, will have extensive and deep cooperation space with ChinaCache in the aspect of network acceleration based services. Through infrastructure construction and its value-added services, cloud computing and its extension, the two sides will conduct deep cooperation in specific applications. At the same time, ChinaCache will offer strong technical support to the information network infrastructure construction in XJTU.

Building together a technology R&D center, leading technological frontier

ChinaCache and XJTU will build the "XJTU-ChinaCache Information Technology Research and Development Center", to push together further substantive cooperation in scientific research and technology development. Both sides will make full use of their own advantages in scientific research and network acceleration technology, and have comprehensive scientific research cooperation, to promote discipline construction of XJTU on one hand, and work together to solve key technical challenges of ChinaCache in intelligent information network, under the environment of Internet and mobile Internet rapid development on the other hand. In addition, both sides will apply together for national major science and technology projects and local government’s industry-university-institute cooperation projects, to conduct prospective technology project research on cloud computing, big data, and Internet of Things; through regular seminars on information network technology, both sides will have broad and deep discussions on most cutting-edge key technologies in technology and information field, to lead emerging technologies and jointly drive the development of electronic information network field

High-end talent cultivation, incubating innovation power

Relying on XJTU’s existing resources, both sides will jointly build a large heterogeneous information network teaching and research experiment platform, on which information transmission and processing experiment network technology environment at a certain complexity level will be created for university students, together with regular information network technology contests, to stimulate students' entrepreneurship, improve their innovation capability integrating theory into practice. In terms of the startup projects brought by XJTU’s teachers or students, an incubation supporting platform will be built to encourage and promote their technology entrepreneurship in Xi 'an. Both ChinaCache and XJTU have also reached consensus on high-end talent output. For example, XJTU will recommend its excellent graduates to work in ChinaCache and its affiliated companies each year, to guarantee the employment, training and career development of the high-end talents.
